In my experience of playing disc golf my game has had its ups and downs but I have yet to face something like this. After shooting the hottest round I have probably ever played, -7 at Veterans Park in Arlington Texas, my Achilles was tight and it has been slightly unbearable to walk and move around. I hit 6 birdies in a row, something I have never done at any course. This is a recurring injury so I know what I am facing as far as recovery but the time off and lack of activity is bumming me out. This weekend I plan on playing 3-4 rounds of disc golf to see if I am any better but any sign of soreness I will stop my rounds and continue to relax, maybe just putt a bit so I don't lose too much ground. Another thing that has been an on going problem has been my shoulder and for any serious disc golfers I know everyone shoulders get tired and sore, but for me my shoulder has just lost power. But with the time off I am hoping to fix all the issues and be back in full form. You have to stay positive on the course and off. This is one road block I will face and I know I can beat it and continue forward.
Good Luck to everyone at Worlds! Tear it up!
Enjoy.
